General, You Are In Violation of
Writ of State
General Musharraf has constantly blamed
Balochis of violating the writ of government. His forces have
killed several hundred Balochis and uprooted several thousands
from their homes in order to establish writ of government in
Balochistan.
What is writ of government?
Writ of government is nothing but extension
of writ of state. If the violators of the writ of government are
worth killing what about those who violate the writ of the
state?
The fact of the matter is violating the writ
of state is more serious crime than violating the writ of
government.
People do have a right to violate the writ of
government if they feel government does not represent them.
If people of Balochistan are violating the
writ of government they are doing so, because they genuinely and
rightfully believe that general Musharraf is a usurper and he is
illegitimate president of Pakistan.
The people of other three provinces need to
stand by their Baloch brothers and sisters and replace general
Musharraf with a legitimate and constitutionally elected
president. If they don’t do it for some reason, they run the
risk of losing Balochistan and breaking Pakistan like 1971. If
they join their Balochi brothers and sisters and replace general
Musharraf with a legitimate and constitutionally elected
president, they stand for a right thing and save Pakistan.
Generals Musharraf, Mahmood and Aziz violated
the writ of state on October 12, 1999 which is a more serious
crime than violating the writ of government. General Musharraf
is still holding the office of COAS and President of Pakistan
illegitimately in violation of the writ of state of Pakistan.
The constitution of Pakistan calls this
violation an act of high treason which is punishable by death
sentence.
Those who are killing innocent Balochis must
know that the real culprits are generals Musharraf, Aziz and
Mahmood. Instead of following general Musharraf’s orders and
killing innocent Balochis, they should arrest general Musharraf
and try him along with general Mahmood and Aziz under the
article 6 of the constitution of Pakistan.
Those who are in violation of writ of state
cannot establish writ of government. The writ of government gets
legitimacy from the constitution, and constitution holds them
responsible under act of high treason.
Is anyone in Pakistan interested in
establishing writ of state to put the country on the track of
rule of law, constitutionalism and democracy?
